Dear Amicalist,
Many of you have heard over the news the Christchurch earthquake disaster that have taken everyone by shock and sadness. Not too long ago we the Amicalist were there enjoying and celebrating in Christchurch.
The CPIT (where Terry works) and the Crowne Plaza (AICR Congress Host Hotel) have been "hurt" and the Grand Chancellor is sinking which will have to be pulled down. It is good to know that our friends of ARDENZ are all OK.
As Amicalist, I would like to appeal to all Section Presidents to donate only £1/€1/$1/1 CHF etc per member from your treasury. The money has to be sent to AICR International bank account and AICR International will support it by adding on NZ $1,000 from its treasury. If anyone wish to donate more, we are more then happy to accept it and pass it on.
We will donate the money to the Red Cross in New Zealand for their disaster relief via Terry whom will forward to it under the AICR International.
It takes so little to do so much.
